I’m working on a new playlist and decided to record it for reference. This mix was recorded yesterday on the regular Microsoft Sound Recorder while having a bunch of friends over at my apartment drinking beer. So the quality is quite crappy, but who can really get enough of glitches and distortion?

The Extraordinary Ordinary Life of Jose Gonzalez

The Sweden-based singer-songwriter and Junip frontman Jose Gonzalez is now the subject of a new documentary film called “The Extraordinary Ordinary Life of Jose Gonzalez”. Directed by Fredrik Egerstrand and Mikel Cee Karisson (who has made videos for Gonzalez and Fever Ray), the film follows Gonzalez over three years and charts his work on his album In Our Nature. Judging by the trailer below, the film also features unorthodox music-doc tricks like surreal animations, naked monster guys, and a drunk dude who humps the air.

Reading Festival 2010

When this post hits the web I’m probably already at the Reading festival. But since I wrote this earlier I’m not really there since it’s Wednesday right now and my flight hasn’t even left yet..

Anyways the lineup looks nice but there’s a lot of garbage though. Why is a band like Guns N’ Roses headlining a festival? Or Blink 182, am I missing something?
